It's the last day of 2012. The snow is falling very slowly outside my window, making its way lazily to the ground. The beauty drew me outside, calling me to a time of exploration.
I carried my "big girl" camera but also my phone, and I love what I was able to capture with the new Tintype SnapPak from Hipstamatic. Snowy days are perfect in black and white, I think. This makes me want to order some film for one of my cameras and explore the world in black and white for a time. Maybe that's one creative goal I can pursue in the new year.
How are you spending your last moments of this year? Do you have any goals (or maybe one little word) for 2013?

I am going to enjoy the company of good friends. Revel in the light of every day and make 2013 the year I find "awe" in all the little things in my life not just the major events.
