Giveaway!

BagguBagguBaggu

I'm a person who likes to be organized, and clutter is not my friend. My home isn't always spotless, but I do try to minimize the mess. And I'm always on the lookout for fun, affordable containers that help me keep things tidy.

So when I was contacted by Ellen at Baggu to ask if I'd like to try some of their new zip bags I said, "yes." And she generously offered to send an extra set that I could share with one of you!

One thing I love about these bags is the wide variety of fun colors you can choose from. The selection of styles and sizes is great, too, and there are so many ways you can use them. The zip bags would be great for your handbag, knitting bag, diaper bag...well, you get the idea. The larger bags would easily hold a knitting or sewing project, or could help your suitcase stay organized when you travel. You could even zip a small gift inside and tie with a ribbon...two gifts in one!

At any rate, take a look around the Baggu site and leave a comment by next Tuesday telling me how you'd use the zip bags. Be sure to leave your email address so I can get in touch. The winner will receive the set of three floral bags, courtesy of Baggu!

Update: Sonia is the winner of the bags! Sonia, they are on the way to you...hope you enjoy!

fabulous! i am always on the lookout for good pouches. i would use a large one to finally give myself the kick i need to start knitting (for real this time!) and smaller ones to organize all the miscellaneous items that are floating around in my purse.

These bags are so cute! I just got home from a trip, and could have used the bags for little souvenirs I picked up along the way. Also, I needed a place to put business cards and a few papers from an earlier trip. AND, I shoved a knitting project (yes, I still have one!) in a bag that didn't fit. And I love your idea of using the bag as a gift bag and making it a double gift!

These would make awesome project bags for my knitting (I make lots of hats). I also think they'd be terrific for keeping toiletries and other loose items organized in a suitcase.

CUTE! I love reusable bags. Great that they are washable, too.

Larger size bag is perfect for my next mitten project. Medium bag is great for makeup. Small bag is perfect for loose change... I always have to carry tons of it in the city for the parking meter and/or the bus!

These are SO cute and practical! I'm a college student, so I would mostly use these bags to keep my backpack/purse organized - they would be great to hold personal items (chaptick, lotion, sunglasses, etc), school supplies (notecards, pens/pencils, erasers, etc), electronics (cell phone, ipod, headphones). They would also be great to keep in my car and hold all those random loose items. I LOVE to stay organized and these look like a great way to keep method to the madness that is, often, my life. Thank you for posting! :-)

These bags are so adorable, and really practical.
I think I'd use them as gifts to my maid of honor and bridesmaids. I was looking for a creative way to wrap the small little gifts I was planning on giving them and instead of wasting wrapping paper--these would hold things perfectly.

The bags are sooo cute! I would probably use them to store and organize makeup and toiletries. Right now I have most of that stuff in a giant ziploc bag. It's very sad.

Oh, I'm so happy i popped in today! These are fabulous. I'm too tired right now to think what I would use them for, but I have no doubt I'd figure something out.

Wow! I love those bags! I would use a couple to contain my children's card games, such as UNO that are currently housed in ugly ziplock bags that rip and look awful on our shelves. I would also use one for change in my purse, and one for my iPod. They are so lovely! When I popped over to the BAGU site, I was totally impressed. Their shopping bags rock! I have a couple nylon ones that I adore, but I would like to get a couple more. Cute patterns too!

Ahhh...that's Anne Lamott lurking to the side so it looks like the bags work with books, which means also Kindles or other readers and all the accoutremont one acquires with these things.

I mean really, how can you have too many bags, pouches, etc? Clear plastic is so passe, not to mention simply boring...

Cosmetics, receipts, jewelry, hair do-dads. Oh yes, and knitting. Of course, knitting. And beading. Can't forget beading. Safely stashing the tools and ingredients for tea on the road...all the danged cords that must be toted along with the technology they power...

I found this giveaway via flickr. Cool bags! I travel a lot and like having things arranged in bags so I can find stuff easily without having to dig around in my pack too long. These would get a ton of use and replace the plastic bags I generally use (and have to keep replacing because they don't last). Off to explore the baggu site now....

I'm always looking for bags to cart around crochet projects, materials & toys for work (I'm a speech pathologist working with preschoolers at various sites), and generally trying (desperately) to keep my crafting at home grouped and organized.

Love the bags, they look very sturdy.
I would find a gazillion things to put into them : knitting projects, odds & ends in my purse, sketchbook + pencils, Hardanger project just to name a few!

I'm our family's "bag lady," always looking for new, fun bags. I would use these for travel and purse organization. Our daughter wants to learn to knit, so I'd use one to hold knitting yarn and supplies for her as a Christmas gift. Thanks for the giveaway!

I would use them to replace the plastic bags that I have holding various travel items - tampons and pads, toothbrush and toothpaste, hand lotion and sanitizer, pad and pen, etc. I keep them in a drawer and then I have them on hand for easy packing. But the plastic isn't very sturdy or pretty; these would be much better.

Knitting projects for sure - especially since I'm knitting gifts for Christmas. Travel art supplies for the kids on rides. Easy to store/carry in and out of the house and into the vehicle. I have made many a bag to put gifts in, these would be great!

I think I am about 4 days too late for the drawing, but just in case my email is: regi@homebodies.org
