Wildflowers are catching my eye right now. A small plot of land just a few blocks from my home is overflowing with sweet blooms in charming shapes and colors.
It's amazing what variety can be found in a humble field. Most of these were hidden from view until I began walking through the tall grass--reminding me that exploring on foot is well worth the time spent. I wonder how much beauty we pass by in our hurried, busy lives?

Oh... I wish I could head out there for a little play! It's Winter in Sydney at the moment and I'm feeling miserable...wah...
Nice reminder to pay attention -- thanks! I love the perspective of the first photo and the color pink in the last.
Your pictures make me smile- don't you wish the world always looked this way?
Your lovely and whimsical photos remind me of the French film Amelie. Charming, evocative, and completely adorable.
The last two flowers/photos are stunning! Kudos to you for finding such beauty where most would have overlooked.

So true... we have to put ourselves on a child's level so we can see the wonders again.
Beautiful photographs and so very similar to the ones I took. Thanks so much for pointing me in your direction.
