Monday again

Just like clockwork--another new week. We had a great weekend, though. My parents were here for a visit so we took advantage of the time together to do some fun things. We rented this movie Friday, which wasn't exactly what I expected but still enjoyable. There was plenty of action to keep my dad interested!

Mom and I made the short trip to Greenwood, Missouri and had a blast antiquing here. For lunch we had soup and some of the best pie imaginable at this tea room. We were successful shoppers, too!

Fun finds

I love little stools and this red one was too cute to pass by. And the chalkboard was another item that caught my eye and found its way home with me. The little bird my daughter gave me several years ago fits right in, don't you think?

We ended our day at one of our favorite pizza places. My dad adores this pizza and is always up for a meal here.

Best. Pizza. Ever.

We had the five cheese pizza with pine nuts, margherita pizza and--my dad's favorite--olive and artichoke. A spinach salad and gelato for dessert made it just about the perfect meal. Mmmm. I could eat there again tonight, I'm sure.

So today is gloomy, a little rainy, and we're back to the routine. But the weekend memories are lingering and carrying me through. How about you?

I actually really liked that movie. Was better than I thought it would be. So glad you had a great weekend together! We did too.

Oh.. Iron Man, we heard of it but haven't seen it. I should ask Mum to borrow the dvd for this weekend.
