Baby feet...

...need a way to stay warm! That's why I knit these little booties to match the baby surprise jacket.

I had plenty of Lorna's Laces left from knitting the jacket, so a pair of cozy booties seemed just the ticket to complete the *ensemble.* I used this pattern for the first time and loved it! So easy, and absolutely no assembly required. For the ties, I just did a crochet chain stitch. I may decide to go back and try I-cord instead, but for now, this will do. Baby's not arriving 'till late summer, so there's still time for adjustments!

Ya just can't go wrong with a BSJ! Nice use of the yarn. And the booties are too cute.

Oh! Those are some outrageously cute booties! And what a cute little set.

Thanks for the link to the pattern!

Inspiration strikes. thanks. Must get to work. Have 3 or 4 babies whose mom's I want to support. The BSJ is so much faster than a blanket!! and darling booties. Although in TX they won't need sweaters again until December, probably.
