Socktober sock seeks mate

So, Socktober--I mean, October--has come and gone and I finished only one sock in the pair. *Sigh.* The good news? This one fits perfectly! Yay! I was beginning to think I'd never knit another sock that I could actually wear. My first two pair of socks must have been lucky flukes, 'cause after that it's been nothing but gauge grief.

Here's the sock, waiting for its mate, relaxing in a tree that complements its fall colors.

Now it's time to jump back on the horse so I'll actually be able to warm *both* feet at the same time!

Leslie, the sock is beautiful, and I'm glad to hear it fits. Now onto the other one. That's nice yarn. I never understood this "Sockoctober" thing that Lolly had going. Was it a certain pattern everyone was making at once or what? I don't do knitalongs so I'm not sure of how that works. Chelle

Your sock looks great!! I always get "sock-itis" by the time I have to start the second sock...I really need to start doing both socks on circulars (something I must learn)!!

How exciting to have finished a sock that fits! I'm worried that my first adult sized socks will be too small (I have slightly big/wide feet), but I'm not giving up. I hope sock #2 comes along quickly and fits just as well!
