Yes, I think this is a keeper! Doesn't it look happy and relaxed (and fall-ish) there in the mums? That's because it knows I won't be ripping it out again. I believe this one finally fits. I just finished all the decreases this morning and now I'm heading down the foot as fast as I can. Wouldn't it be something if I actually finished this one and cast on for the mate this weekend?

Socktober socks
I joined Lolly's Socktoberfest 2005, even though the sock I started last week was frogged. Never fear, however, I cast on again right away. That was after some major yarn detangling involving rewinding the yarn, having the new ball fly off the ball winder halfway through the process and then a lot of pulling of hair and gnashing of teeth till all was set right again. But now things are looking good!
