Just another Monday

Heavenly

Fly me to the moon

Love is all you need

This spring has been moving along at breakneck speed. While I love the early arrival of warm weather, I would like just a little more time to enjoy each phase before it's gone. Lilacs have bloomed, peonies are nearly gone, and now I see the first of my hydrangeas starting to open up. I want to hang onto each of those favorites a just a little longer, but it's not to be.

Time is a strange thing. The days can seem to go slowly, yet in the blink of any eye, another month is gone. It's crazy to think that we're almost halfway through this year. My head spins when I think of all that's happened already and all that lies ahead. College graduation for our son is just a few days away and I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that. How is it possible that his undergraduate days are nearly over?

Today is one of those perfect spring days that follow a violent storm. Tornado warnings, hail and torrential rains of yesterday have been replaced by sunny skies and mild temps today. Much like many of life's events, wouldn't you say?

What are you savoring about spring right now?

Yesterday I saw my first hummingbird and today I saw my first oriole and I am definitely loving that! I also love your photo of the luna moth.

our lilacs made a weak appearance, but the ants are tackling the peony balls right now and i'm hoping to see them soon.

we keep alternating high and low temps which has made spring just seem off right now, but i'm holding onto every bit of it while i can like you say...

we've had a couple of those perfect spring days too, where you just want to stand outside and breathe it in as long as possible.

gorgeous photos. love, love, love the moth!

Love, love, LOVE the lilac photo! Beautiful! I love seeing the flowers begin to bloom, but most of all I love being able to come home from work with my sunroof and window open. Love the breeze in my hair.

We are on the same page so to speak. My oldest is graduating from high school and I can't quite believe it either!

And I absolutely love your photo of the lilacs, swoon!
