It's happening

It's happening

This bright red leaf caught my eye yesterday, a standout in the sea of still-green leaves on the maple tree in front of my house. And it caught me by surprise.

The overlap of seasons, the movement from summer to fall--it's happening. Ready or not, the breezes are cooler, the light is shifting, the mood is changing. Can you feel it?

It's so nice to enter fall with tons of other bloggers. Like watching the whole world change at once.

yes, I can - even down south when the temps move from 90 to 80 - we start saying, it feels like fall.

We're not feeling it yet here in Florida. It's going to be a loooong time for us. And we'll never get such beautiful color her.

I can feel it. Beautiful writing.

I can't believe those colors can happen in nature.

Say it isn't so! I'm so not ready for fall. But, I guess it is what it is. I do love the autumn leaves and that's definitely a beauty.
