This recipe is truly a winner if you're a chocoholic like me. The chocolate flavor is very intense, so be sure to use chocolate and cocoa you love. And since it's a sorbet, you can serve it to your friends or family members who don't eat dairy. I haven't run the numbers on fat and calories, but I'm thinking this is a more figure-friendly treat than ice cream.
My only advice is to make this in advance, transfer the sorbet to a shallow container, and freeze overnight if you want to be able to scoop it. Otherwise, just ladle it into your bowl and dig in! You won't be sorry.

Oh, that looks yum - anything chocolate is Mum's favourite. Perhaps we've been wrong all this while in not giving ice cream a go.
squeeeeeeee! That looks delicious! We've had such a cold start to the summer but just yesterday it became hot and humid. Just in time for chocolate ice-cream!
That looks DIVINE!!! Just found you through TasteSpotting. :)
How should i do this recipe if i don't have a ice-cream maker. Can you please tell me how. My kids really love this dessert.
Thanks
Amelia, the only suggestion I have is to make the mixture, pour it into a shallow container, and pop it into your freezer. Freeze overnight and then see what happens! I think this will work fine, though the texture may not be the same. Good luck!
My cuisinart ice cream maker is on its way!! First I'm making the strawberry/buttermilk recipe, then I'm making the vanilla/pepper recipe from Orangette's book, and next I'll make this!
