They say it's your birthday

It's my birthday, too, yeah! I've always loved being a summer solstice baby. I get to have the longest day of the year to celebrate.

Here's a look at some birthdays past.

A very 60s birthday
Turning two

My birthday hat
Presents and a fab hat

Birthday with the sibs and cousins
Siblings and cousins (I'm the tall one!)

So today's the day I move into a new decade. Yes, a big zero at the end of the number. Another leap forward, another shift, yet so much the same inside. I'm blessed beyond measure and this birthday reminds me of that. It's gonna be great to see what lies ahead!

Happy Birthday To You! I know I'm one day late but it's still your birthday weekend, no?

I hope there was cake of the most delicious kind.

Yes, I hope you had a fabulous 20th birthday! ;-) I will be turning "20" this September...

My son has a birthday only a couple days before the solstice and I have always thought it's a great time of year to celebrate...

Happy Birthday! But, I have just one question....WHAT is the young man next to you on the right going to DO with that bat?

Leslie said...

Um, yeah, the bat. That's my cousin, I guess just vying for attention. No harm came to my head or the cake. (I'm pretty sure I'd remember that!)
