Eye candy Friday

I've seen that many bloggers have been drawn into the photography arena as they strive to capture good images of their craft to share. Just look here, here, or here for starters. And those are only the tip of the iceberg!

Trying to hone my skills, I've been having fun exploring some new (to me) photography blogs. One that caught my attention recently is the Noticing Project, a collaborative blog in which two artists post a picture a day of the small, everyday things. Recently they invited readers to participate in a week of noticing, and this was my contribution.

Shadows and blooms

Another great find is Shutter Sisters. The photos are awesome, and the writing is thought provoking. You can hop further down the bunny trail when you start reading the comments and clicking away on the links there. Inspiring.

Are there any photo blogs--or blogs with great photos--that you adore? Please share. I'd love to see what I'm missing!

Lovely shot. I've managed to stay away from the photography blogs. Until now.

Softly shaded. Love the mood and shadows.

Sorry, but no pure photography sites for you unless you count specialty Flickr groups. I do enjoy those sites that use photography to enhance or explain context - even if it's something as mundane as a restaurant review. The visual can speak volumes. Enjoy exploring!

Apparently I need to start reading the photography blogs, as my photography is the pits. I never seem to have enough light.
