Are you ready for some KNITTING?

I'm ashamed to say it's been ages since I've posted about knitting. Wow. When I cast on for these socks, I figured they'd fly off the needles in no time. Simple stockinette pattern, easy-peasy. But distractions crept in and these socks paid the price.

As a reminder, here's the lovely yarn that started the project.

Yarntini sock yarn

That's yummy Yarntini yarn (the first skein I've ever had) and it was a gift from Amy. Pretty, yes?

And here are the finished socks, hot off the needles.

Socks and shoes

Best of all, my pink All Stars now have socks to match, just in time for spring. Ahhh.

They are beautiful. And I'm so jealous that you have Yarntini - I've never been able to get any!

Naw. It can't be! These are adorable... Annabelle has a pair of pink converse (she calls them her Chuckie Cheese's instead of Chuck Taylor's) and I've always been jealous. I might go get me a pair!

The knitting muses are smiling at you for finishing these... ;-)

Love the socks - but I especially love the juxtaposition of the pink socks with the pink converse all star sneakers. Fun!
