D is for Discover

I'm done with winter. It’s been too long since I’ve seen the uplifting colors of spring. I know the new season is just around the corner, but in the words of Veruca Salt, “I want it now!”

In search of some hopeful signs, I set out to discover what might be cropping up in my own yard . I was pleased to see some new arrivals on the landscape. Do you recognize them?

Daffodils
Lamb's ear
Day lilies
Chives

Daffodils, lamb's ear, day lilies and chives--oh my. I was so happy to see these little bits of green poking bravely through the ground. Spring's messengers have officially arrived!

All though the plants are popping up in my garden, I really don't think that we have seen a single bit of spring in Denmark!!!

It rains, rains and rains......

But you are right - spring is probably around the corner and I can't wait!

Okay! Post some travel pix already! I just tagged you. I don't know exactly what that means... so here's the deal. You have to list 7 things about yourself and tag 7 other people. (I just tagged 2 because I'm lazy.) Then you leave them a note in their comments to let them know they've been tagged. Gas on it! (That Southern for get moving.)

Glad you're home!
