Winter returned with a vengeance yesterday. Biting winds and blowing snow were the order of the day, after an enjoyable 58 degree afternoon just 24 hours before. The wind was so fierce that the snow barely hit the roads before it was swept away. The snow that managed to stick was shaped into these formations.
Today, the sun did its magic--no more ice or snow on the driveway now. But we hear the next storm isn't far behind. Brrr!

What a cool pic! Literally!
Yesterday, when it blew in here, we had little snow granules, like teeny hailstones, that were about an inch deep all over the ground. Would have made a cool picture, if I'd had the camera with me.
It's a neat picture but I'm tired of winter. Aren't you tired of winter? Ugh.
wow, great pic!! They do look like clouds
Wasn't that insane??? I thought we were in for another blizzard, but by 2 o'clock... all gone!
Great pic!
