Have needles, will felt!

I got this set of felting needles today at my LYS, along with the dark purple Cascade yarn for embellishing my "On the Go" bag. This should be fun! I'm thinking of just adding a small scallop all around the top edge of the purse, but I'll need to lay out some of the yarn and experiment to know for sure. I plan to practice with the needles on a felted swatch from a previous project, just to get a feel for it before I try it on my finished purse. Wish me luck!
