Music tag

Well, I've been tagged by Leah and Amy to share this musical information, so here goes:

1) Total amount of music files on your computer: Zero. Nada. None. O.K., so I'm boring, and totally not into the 21st century yet. I'm just proud of myself for owning some CDs, since my car still only has *gasp* a cassette tape player. I also chalk it up to the fact that my old laptop couldn't possibly handle ONE MORE THING without blowing up!

2) The last CD you bought was: four by Blues Traveler. This was a Christmas gift for my son, who's at least a little bit interested in blues and very interested in jazz. This one was recommended by my brother for its prominent use of harmonica.

3) What is the last song you listened to before reading this message? "Belong" by Chris Rice.

4) What are your five favorite songs and why do they mean so much to you? O.K., this is hardest for me. I don't do "favorite" lists very well, but here are just a few I like. (This list will definitely show you my age and sentimental tendencies!)

--"Tapestry" by Carole King. I just love her voice, her lyrics, this entire CD really (except it was an "album" when I first knew it).

--"If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago. Typical teenage angst and memories.

--"Unforgettable" by Natalie Cole. Just gorgeous.

--"Come Away with Me" by Norah Jones. Another beautiful voice.

--"Untitled Hymn" by Chris Rice. A contemporary Christian artist with wonderful messages.

5) What three people will you pass this on to, and why? This is going out to Abbey, Kyra, and Wendy. Hopefully they'll respond more quickly to this tag than I did. And I think all of their responses will be more earth-shattering than mine! (Next time I'll just stick to knitting, thank you very much!)
